MAPLERIDGE Ranch is unlike any other summer camp for more reasons than one. Between the breathtaking location in the Southern Tier and its longstanding heritage, our one-week overnight camp offers an experience that is truly life changing. Part of this special experience is the worship and message given each morning and evening by our guest speakers. This extraordinary opportunity gives our campers the chance to meet with and be mentored by influential Christian leaders throughout the summer.
We will have six incredible guest speakers this summer; one for each session of camp. To say that our speaker lineup is awesome would be an understatement. If you don’t believe us, why don’t you look over the bios of the speakers who will be leading our camp sessions this summer!
Session 1: Andrew Nix
Andrew Nix is the Creative Media Director at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. He is a graduate of Liberty University and has been a student pastor since 2008. This will be his first summer at the Ranch and he couldn’t be more excited to kick off Session 1!
Session 2: Kelly Knouse
A graduate and former baseball player at Liberty University, Kelly has nearly 20 years of experience serving the local church in student ministry. For the last 15 years Kelly has served as the Lead Student Pastor of Idlewild Baptist Church in Florida. Kelly is passionate about preaching Jesus, seeing students changed by the Gospel, and developing the next generation of church leaders. He and his wife Tara, live in Tampa, Florida with their six beautiful children. Kelly can’t wait to return to MAPLERIDGE for the second time. C’mon, Session 2!
Session 3: Clint Lamberth
Clint Lamberth is one of the only gingers brave enough to live in South Florida. He does everything he can to avoid the sun in Stuart, Florida. He is a pastor at Christ Fellowship where he has been serving for the past 3 years. Clint is married to his high school sweetheart, Stephanie. They have the awesome privilege of having 3 children, Reuben (5), Ellie (3), and Lucy (11 months). This will be his first summer at the Ranch and he couldn’t be more excited for Session 3!
Session 4: Isaac Cabrera
Isaac Cabrera lives in Tampa, Florida and serves at Idlewild Baptist Church. He is excited to be speaking at MAPLERIDGE Ranch for the second year in a row. Some of the things he is looking forward to is visiting the Hitching Post and hopefully throwing Chief in the pool. But he is the most excited about sharing the Gospel and seeing students grow deeper in their walk with the Lord. Bring on Session 4!
Session 5: Sam Landrith
Sam Landrith is no stranger to MAPLERIDGE. This will be his third summer at the Ranch. He’s just an ole boy from Tennessee that loves to preach the gospel. He can’t wait to see everyone at the Ranch during Session 5!
Session 6: Chris Dotson
Chris Dotson lives in Tampa, Florida with his beautiful wife Rachel, where he serves as pastor to high school students at Idlewild Baptist Church. Chris has spoken at MAPLERIDGE Ranch every summer for the past 5 years. His favorite pastime at Camp is sitting on the Hitching Post Porch with Gunner and an ice cold Stewart’s Cream Soda. MAPLERIDGE holds a special place in his heart, and he can’t wait to return this summer for Session 6!
