Important Changes to Opening Day Check-In & Closing Day Check-Out Process

Dear Mapleridge Parents,


We’re so excited to welcome your camper to Mapleridge Ranch this summer! To help Opening Day go smoothly, we’ve made a few updates to our check-in process. Please read the following steps carefully:


Before you arrive, you will need to print out our new luggage tags to label your belongings before you arrive!

Opening Day Check-In – What to Expect:

  1. Arrival Times –To help with traffic flow and parking, PLEASE do not arrive prior to your camper’s designated check-in time. Gate will NOT be open prior to check-in. (If you are bringing campers with multiple last names, simply defer to the earliest designated
    check-in time)
    ● 4:00 PM – Last Names A–F
    ● 4:20 PM – Last Names G–L
    ● 4:40 PM – Last Names M–R
    ● 5:00 PM – Last Names S–Z
  2. Luggage Drop-Off – When you arrive, our staff will greet you and collect your camper’s luggage directly from your vehicle.
  3. Park Your Vehicle – After luggage is unloaded, you’ll be directed to a designated
    parking area.
  4. Check-In at the Upper Room – Head to the second floor of the Barn (The Upper
    Room), where you will visit the following stations in no particular order.
    ○ REGISTRATION- Register with Office Assistant.
    ○ HEAD CHECK- Lice Screening.
    (You will receive a green sticker upon completion to add to your luggage tags.)
    ○ NURSE- Check-in with our nurse and turn in meds.
    ○ CAMPER ACCOUNTS- Add funds to your Camper Account for the store/ crafts.
    ○ REFRESHMENTS- Enjoy some light refreshments!
    ○ VISION & LEGACY- Stop by and see the future of MRR!
  5. Hitching Post – Swing by camp store to check out the new merch and make purchases!
  6. Drop Off Camper – Head over to your camper’s cabin to meet their counselor… big hugs and goodbye!

Closing Day Check-Out – What to Expect:

  1. Arrival Time – Please arrive no earlier than 8:45 AM.
  2. Park Your Vehicle – Our staff will direct you to the designated parking area.
  3. Check-Out at the Upper Room – Head to the second floor of the Barn (The Upper
    Room), where you will visit the following stations in no particular order.
  4. Pick Up Camper – After check-in, head to your camper’s team-specific pick-up location.
    Counselors will not release campers without confirming the proper wristband.

■ Yellow Team – Basketball Court
■ Green Team – Volleyball Court
■ Black Team – Pavilion
■ Blue Team – Flagpole

  1. Stop by the Camp Store – Pick up any last-minute camp gear, snacks, or souvenirs!
    Closing Celebration will begin promptly at 9:30 AM! Join us as we celebrate the
    week, hear highlights from campers and staff, and give thanks for all God has done!
    (All stations will be closed at this time and reopened immediately following the presentation. Any unclaimed campers will need to sit with staff until Closing Celebration is over and confirmation can be made.)
